Among the people highlighted is historian and professor Tashmanbet Kenensariev, who was born on September 5, 1949, in Kara-Suu in the Jalal-Abad region. He held senior positions at several Kyrgyz universities and institutions, including the National Academy, the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University and Jalal-Abad State University.

Kenensariev wrote 17 monographs, three textbooks, 18 teaching manuals and more than 350 academic articles in several languages. He supervised about 20 doctoral dissertations and received national and international recognition for his work. He died on July 2, 2021.
