TOEIC Speaking adds emergency weekday test as Samsung recruitment opens

The Korea TOEIC Committee has arranged an additional weekday TOEIC Speaking test for the 14th, giving Samsung applicants one last chance to secure an English-speaking score during the recruitment period.

The committee, which operates under YBM, said on the 8th that it scheduled the extra test to match Samsung Group’s second-half recruitment timetable. Results will be released the following day, the 15th, which is also the deadline for submitting applications.

Samsung is accepting applications from the 8th through the 15th on the Samsung Careers website. The recruitment drive includes 19 affiliates, including Samsung Electronics, Samsung C&T, Samsung Biologics, Samsung Bioepis, Samsung Life Insurance, Samsung Display, Samsung SDI, Samsung Electro-Mechanics, Samsung SDS, Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, Samsung Card, Samsung Securities, Samsung Heavy Industries, Samsung E&A, Hotel Shilla, Cheil Worldwide, S-1, Samsung Medical Center and Samsung Welstory.

Applicants must check the recruitment notice for their preferred affiliate because detailed schedules differ by company. Samsung said last year that it planned to hire 60,000 people over five years.
