Tokayev congratulates Kazakh judokas on triumph at Youth World Championships

Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has lauded the national judo team for their outstanding performance at the World Youth Championships in Guayaquil, Ecuador. The team achieved its most successful result in the history of Kazakh judo, securing a total of 11 medals: four gold, three silver, and four bronze.

Tokayev specifically congratulated Gabit Rassulkhan, Fatima Supygaliyeva, and Adilzhan Zhaudinov for winning gold medals in their individual events. He also celebrated the team's triumph in the mixed team competition, where Kazakhstan defeated Brazil 4:3 in the final. The President extended his best wishes for a bright sporting future and continued achievements to the young champions.

Earlier, the Kazakh national judo team made history by winning the team event at the Cadet World Championships for the first time. President Tokayev also held a conversation with International Judo Federation President Marius Vizer. Vizer congratulated Tokayev on the athletes' unprecedented success, and the Kazakh leader thanked him for the constructive cooperation that promotes judo development in the country.
