Tolga Akış, wife Gizem Kaya, and Manifest face allegations: Mesut Adlin to testify tomorrow

Social media is abuzz with allegations made by photographer Mesut Adlin against the music group Manifest, its manager Tolga Akış, and Akış's wife, Gizem Kaya. Adlin's claims stem from a fallout between himself and the group approximately a year ago, which involved accusations of Adlin sharing inappropriate messages with a minor. At the time, Manifest canceled planned shoots with Adlin, and Akış stated they would not defend anyone's wrongdoing.

Adlin has since denied the earlier accusations, claiming the shared conversations were incomplete and that he ended contact upon learning the other person's age. He also asserted he never pressured anyone. Adlin later filed a complaint with the prosecutor's office, requesting an investigation into the claims against him and lodging a complaint against specific individuals. He recently released a 15-minute YouTube video presenting messages, screenshots, and audio recordings as evidence for his claims.

Central to Adlin's allegations are the purported 10-year contracts signed by Manifest members. He claims these contracts stipulated harsh terms regarding the sharing of digital and commercial income, with Spotify and YouTube revenues allegedly going entirely to Tolga Akış. Furthermore, Adlin claims each Manifest member received only a 10% share of concert revenue, with management determining payouts from brand collaborations.

Adlin also alleged interference in the private lives of Manifest members. He cited the case of Sueda Uluca, whose relationship with Berkcan Güven was reportedly deemed unsuitable for the group's image. Adlin claims Güven was messaged about the relationship's negative impact on Manifest, and Uluca faced potential expulsion if it continued. A similar situation allegedly occurred with Hilal Yelekçi's relationship with Agah Uz, with Tolga Akış reportedly threatening to disband the group if Yelekçi did not end it, leading to pressure from other members.
