Thomas Ramos says his move to Racing 92 will likely bring a change of position, with the Toulouse fullback expecting to play fly-half for the next stage of his career.

Stade Toulousain announced in early August that Ramos would leave at the end of the 2026-27 season. The France international, the leading points scorer in the history of the national team, will join Racing 92 on July 1, 2027, on a three-year contract.

Ramos has spent nearly 15 years in Toulouse’s red and black colours. In an interview with Canal Rugby Club, he said the transfer offered him a fresh challenge and a chance to rethink his role on the field.

Before beginning the new chapter, Ramos will try to leave Toulouse with another major title. Stade Toulousain is seeking a fifth consecutive Brennus Shield, something no team has achieved in the history of the championship.
