Tourism Fiji appoints governance specialist

Tourism Fiji has appointed Deepesh Singh, a lawyer with extensive corporate law and compliance experience, to a newly created role. Singh will serve as the organization's Board Secretary and Corporate Services/Governance Specialist. He brings over seven years of relevant professional experience to the position. Notably, Singh is the first Fijian national to achieve distinction in the European Master of Laws and Economics program. This appointment is part of a strategic effort to bolster Tourism Fiji's governance structures. The organization seeks to improve its legal compliance and accountability as it pursues global expansion. CEO Dr. Paresh Pant is leading a comprehensive review of the organization's governance framework to ensure it aligns with both government expectations and international best practices.
