Toyota Aqua Gets Sportier with GR Parts and GR Sport Trim

Toyota is enhancing its Aqua model, known internationally as the Yaris Cross and previously as the Prius C in Taiwan, with a model year update. The refreshed Aqua gains interior equipment upgrades and introduces a GR Sport variant, aiming to boost its competitive edge.

Central to the update is the availability of a GR Parts package. While the 'GR' branding often signifies high performance, these parts for the Aqua are designed to elevate the driving experience for everyday commutes and errands. The focus is on improving handling and stability, allowing drivers to feel a sportier connection to the road even in urban settings.

Key components of the GR Parts package include "GR Aero Turbulators" for the front and rear wheel arches and "GR Sports Side Visors." These elements, developed with racing and aerodynamic expertise, are engineered to manage airflow around the car. This management aims to enhance body stability during high-speed driving and cornering. Additionally, a "GR Discharge Tape" is offered to smooth airflow over the vehicle's surface, working in conjunction with the other parts to maximize the Aqua's inherent agile handling.
