Traffic Jams at Danish Parks, UNICEF Warehouse Hit in Ukraine, Heatwave Warnings in Spain

In Ukraine, a UNICEF warehouse near Kyiv was struck during a Russian attack, causing damage to over 106,000 essential aid items valued at approximately 25.5 million Danish kroner. The supplies, including generators, drinking water, and hygiene kits, were intended for children and families in frontline areas. The attack occurred in Bilohorodka following a night of widespread air raids.

Meanwhile, Spain's meteorological agency, AEMET, has issued heatwave warnings for eastern and southern Spain, as well as the Balearic Islands, including Mallorca and Ibiza. Temperatures in these regions are expected to reach between 37 and 41 degrees Celsius.

Elsewhere, firefighters in Norway have reported gaining control over a large fire in Krokstadelva that caused extensive damage to several houses and buildings. Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre is scheduled to visit the affected area. In Odense Zoo, Denmark, hanging bridges have reopened after being temporarily closed due to the discovery of a nest of oak processionary caterpillars.
