Tragic end to search for missing 68-year-old in Istiaia - Found dead in the sea

Search efforts for a missing 68-year-old man in northern Evia, Greece, concluded tragically on Sunday afternoon when his body was discovered in the sea near Istiaia.

Local authorities mobilized immediately after the man was reported missing, launching coordinated search operations focused primarily on the coastal area. The man's body was found in the Kefales Asmini sea area. The Hellenic Coast Guard and the Greek Police participated in the operation, utilizing all available resources to search both the sea and the coastline.
