The incident occurred during a "GazoTerapija" (Gas Therapy) event, described on social media as a safe space for motorcycle training and improvement, where participants ride at their own pace without competitive stress. Police confirmed that they received a report around 7:52 p.m. on July 16th, stating a motorcyclist was taken to the hospital from the track.

Authorities have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death, classifying it under Article 137, Part 1 of the Lithuanian Criminal Code, which deals with causing serious health impairment due to negligence.
