Train Delays Hit Serbia Due to Infrastructure Issues at Resnik Station

Train services in Serbia faced significant disruptions today due to infrastructure problems at the Resnik station. Several trains were delayed, and some were canceled entirely, impacting passengers traveling on various routes.

According to Srbijavoz, the issues at Resnik station were resolved around 10:30 AM, with normal train operations gradually being restored. However, the exact nature of the "infrastructure capacities" causing the disruptions remains unclear, as N1's attempts to get a statement from Infrastruktura Železnice were unsuccessful.

The delays affected numerous trains, including those traveling from Niš to Zemun and Belgrade, Subotica to Bar, and Prijepolje to Zemun. Some trains, like the one from Lapovo to Belgrade and several BG Voz services, were canceled on specific segments of their routes. Passengers on the Užice to Zemun and Valjevo to Zemun lines also faced considerable waiting times.
