Transfer: Köln loans striker Dallinga for one year from FC Bologna

1. FC Köln has bolstered its attacking options by signing Dutch striker Thijs Dallinga on a one-year loan from Italian Serie A club FC Bologna. The Bundesliga side announced the acquisition, highlighting Dallinga's experience across various European leagues.

FC Köln Managing Director Thomas Kessler stated that Dallinga's profile and experience will enhance the team's offensive capabilities and foster competition within the squad. The 26-year-old forward previously made his professional breakthrough in the 2021/22 season with Excelsior Rotterdam, where he was the top scorer, leading them to promotion to the Dutch Eredivisie.

Dallinga then moved to French Ligue 1 club FC Toulouse, scoring 26 goals over two seasons. In the summer of 2024, he joined FC Bologna, accumulating 12 goals and 8 assists in 80 appearances across all competitions. He also has one senior international cap for the Netherlands.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the move, Dallinga said, "FC is a really cool club with great fans – and I have always wanted to play in the Bundesliga, I am very much looking forward to it. I want to score as many goals as possible to help the club achieve its goals."
