Transjakarta adjusts Corridor 1 service for Jakarta Marathon

PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) will adjust its service on Corridor 1, which runs from Blok M to Kota, on Sunday morning, June 7, 2026, between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM Western Indonesia Time (WIB).

This operational modification is in place to ensure the smooth running of the BTN Jakarta International Marathon (JAKIM) 2025. The event is expected to draw approximately 31,000 runners who will occupy the Jalan Sudirman and Jalan MH Thamrin areas, the usual route for Corridor 1 buses.

Ayu Wardhani, Head of Transjakarta's Public Relations and CSR Department, stated that the adjustments are intended to maintain optimal customer service during the event. "Transjakarta supports various events held in Jakarta while prioritizing customer service. Therefore, we are making temporary operational adjustments to Corridor 1 to ensure customer journeys remain safe and comfortable," she explained.

Customers traveling on Corridor 1 between Blok M and Kota will be rerouted via Corridors 9 and 14 during the adjustment period. Transjakarta will continue to serve customers at the Petojo, Tarakan, Tomang Raya, Kota Bambu, and Tegal Parang stops in both directions. However, the Corridor 1 service will not stop at stations between Kebon Sirih and Bundaran Senayan to accommodate traffic management for the marathon. Transjakarta advises customers to plan their journeys in advance and check official Transjakarta channels for the latest updates.
