Transjakarta Extends Hours for Java Jazz Festival Access

To accommodate attendees of the Java Jazz Festival 2026, Transjakarta has extended the operating hours for its PIK 2-Blok M route (T31). The service will now run from 5 AM to midnight between May 29 and May 31, an increase from its usual 10 PM closing time.

Ayu Wardhani, Head of Public Relations and CSR at PT Transportasi Jakarta, stated that the extension supports the mobility needs of customers, particularly for those attending the international music event. "This service extension is presented to support customer mobility needs, especially for the return journey of customers attending one of Jakarta's biggest international music events," Ayu said.

Transjakarta aims to offer responsive services and encourages the public to use public transportation to travel to and from the festival venue. The Java Jazz Festival 2026 is being held from May 29-31 at NICE PIK 2 and features artists like Wave to Earth, Daniel Caesar, and Ella Mai, alongside Indonesian musicians such as Yovie Widianto, Mahalini, Ruth Sahanya, and RAN.
