Transjakarta Temporarily Closes Kebon Sirih Bus Stop for MRT-Related Road Repairs

PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) announced temporary service adjustments affecting the Kebon Sirih bus stop. Starting Friday, July 17, at 10 PM Western Indonesian Time, the stop heading towards Kota will be closed until Monday, July 20, at 5 AM.

The closure is necessary due to road repair work impacted by the ongoing Jakarta Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) construction. Transjakarta's Head of Public Relations and CSR, Ayu Wardhani, stated that while bus services will continue to operate normally, passengers accustomed to using the Kebon Sirih stop are urged to utilize the nearest alternative stops.

During the work, Transjakarta services will continue to operate normally. However, customers who usually use the Kebon Sirih bus stop towards Kota are advised to use the nearest stops as an alternative for their journey.

Wardhani emphasized that these adjustments support the development of integrated public transportation infrastructure in Jakarta. Ensuring passenger safety during the repair work is a primary concern. "Transjakarta fully supports the development of integrated public transportation in Jakarta," she said.

As alternatives, passengers traveling towards Kota can use the Bank Indonesia or Monumen Nasional bus stops. Transjakarta has apologized for any inconvenience caused and expressed appreciation for the public's understanding and cooperation during this period. The company anticipates that these service adjustments will contribute to the smooth progress of infrastructure development, ultimately enhancing connectivity and public transportation services in Jakarta.
