Travemünder Woche Sailing Regattas Conclude Successfully

The Travemünder Woche, a major international sailing event, has wrapped up after a successful run. Over 1,600 sailors from 30 countries tested their skills on the waters. Organizers reported favorable wind conditions throughout the competition, ranging from light to strong breezes, ensuring a challenging yet rewarding experience for the participants.

Alongside the intense sailing races, the Lübeck seaside resort hosted a vibrant folk festival. This popular event was scheduled to conclude late Sunday with a fireworks display. Organizers had anticipated approximately 600,000 attendees, and initial reports suggest the turnout met expectations, aided by predominantly good weather with sunshine and only occasional rain.
