Truck Driver Fleeing Robbery Crashes into Utility Poles in Lo Espejo

A dramatic chase unfolded in the commune of Lo Espejo, Chile, early Tuesday morning when a truck driver, fleeing an attempted robbery, crashed into and downed multiple utility poles. The incident occurred around 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of Huasco and Lucila Godoy streets.

According to reports, four assailants attempted to steal the truck. The driver, in an effort to evade the attackers, swerved and collided with the power lines, bringing down several poles. The maneuver, however, did not end the encounter peacefully.
