Truck Driver Severely Injured in Autobahn Pile-Up

A truck driver sustained severe injuries in a serious accident on the A2 autobahn near Hohe Börde in the Börde district of Saxony, Germany. The incident occurred when the driver of a car transporter failed to notice a traffic jam ahead.

According to police reports, the driver crashed his vehicle into the back of a stationary truck. Emergency responders and bystanders were able to free the injured driver from his cab through the passenger side. He was subsequently transported to a clinic for treatment. The driver of the front truck remained unharmed.

The collision involved a car transporter carrying seven new vehicles.
