Trump suggested that gasoline should cost approximately $2.50 per gallon (3.79 liters). This figure contrasts sharply with the average price of $3.86 per gallon reported by the American Automobile Association (AAA) on June 29. Prices vary by state, with the West Coast experiencing the highest rates, although AAA data indicates the national average has remained below $4 per gallon for two consecutive weeks.
