President Donald Trump is in "excellent health" and "fully fit" for the presidency, according to his physician following the latest medical check-up at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. The report released on May 29 detailed a comprehensive examination by 22 specialists, including CT scans, cardiac evaluations, and cancer screenings.

While Trump's cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological functions, and overall physical condition were assessed as good, the report noted a weight gain of about 6 kg (13 lbs) over the past year. He now weighs 108 kg (238 lbs) and stands at 1.9m (6'3"). Doctors advised the president to adjust his diet, increase physical activity, and continue taking low-dose aspirin for cardiovascular prevention, while also aiming for weight loss.

Despite these recommendations, his cognitive and physical capabilities were deemed "excellent." The report also mentioned a persistent, though improved, "mild swelling in the lower extremities" and bruising on his hands. Doctors described the bruising as common, benign, and consistent with mild soft tissue irritation from frequent handshaking, especially while on aspirin.

Trump, who will turn 80 in June, has often contrasted his health with that of his predecessor, Joe Biden. He took to social media platform Truth Social to declare his check-up results "perfect," thanking the medical staff. This was his third visit to Walter Reed in 13 months, which also included a routine dental examination.
