Trump marks 80th birthday with UFC fights on White House lawn

The celebration, scheduled for Friday, will also commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States and Flag Day. A large arena with a capacity for 5,000 people has been constructed on the White House grounds for the festivities. Some attendees will be required to pay an entrance fee, a decision that has led to a federal lawsuit against the project.

UFC President Dana White is organizing the event and reportedly covering all associated costs, estimated at approximately $60 million for the arena setup and $700,000 for post-event cleanup. Thousands of soldiers and special guests invited by the president are expected to attend, along with numerous celebrities, though public confirmations remain scarce. Washington lobbyists, loyal politicians, and Trump's family members are also anticipated.

When asked about his birthday wishes, Trump stated he desires world peace and aims to "Make America Great Again." He dismissed concerns about his health, asserting he is energetic, despite polls indicating a majority of Americans believe he is too frail for his position. Trump himself expressed ambivalence about his birthday, noting, "I don't need to be wished happy birthday because I'm not happy about the birthday I'm having."
