President Donald Trump revealed that negotiations with Iran are set to recommence on August 3rd, expressing strong optimism about reaching agreements on key issues.

Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One while traveling from Bedminster, New Jersey, to Washington on August 2nd, Trump stated, "A deal has been reached on the Strait of Hormuz." He added, "A deal on denuclearization will also be reached." The President indicated that the talks would begin on the afternoon of August 3rd (local time).

However, Trump did not disclose specific details regarding the agreement, the negotiating parties, or the venue for the discussions. Earlier, he had announced the cancellation of a large-scale airstrike against Iran, citing requests from Gulf allies including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. Trump claimed that U.S. forces were preparing "the largest attack since World War II" but decided to pursue diplomatic solutions after consulting with regional leaders like Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
