Trump Reappoints Pam Bondi to White House AI Advisory Role After Epstein Scandal Dismissal

Pam Bondi is making a comeback to the White House, joining an advisory committee on artificial intelligence just months after being dismissed as U.S. Attorney General. President Donald Trump's decision to bring Bondi back into the fold, this time as part of the Presidential Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST), signals a rapid shift in his attitude.

Bondi's previous tenure as Attorney General ended amidst controversy, particularly concerning her handling of sensitive cases linked to the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. Her dismissal had suggested a falling out with Trump, making her current appointment a notable development.

The PCAST committee, which advises the U.S. administration on science and technology, includes prominent figures like Nvidia co-founder Jensen Huang, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, and Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison.
