Donald Trump Jr. has arrived in Warsaw for a one-day visit, with discussions about Polish President Karol Nawrocki’s planned trip to the White House reportedly on the agenda.

According to Radio ZET journalist Mariusz Gierszewski, Trump’s son is expected to appear at the Presidential Palace. His visit comes as Nawrocki prepares for a possible meeting with the U.S. president during the G20 summit in December.

Nawrocki said at a news briefing that the meeting with Donald Trump would “certainly” take place on the sidelines of the summit. He stressed that cooperation between Poland and the United States remains “very regular.”

Asked what concrete results he could bring back from the December summit, Nawrocki said his “stable relations with President Donald Trump,” which he believes have already produced many results, would “simply be refreshed” in December. “As we are moving toward permanent American bases, and thanks to President Trump’s invitation we will attend the G20 summit, I believe everything is under control,” he said.

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio previously said Poland would join the G20 and take its rightful place among the group’s members. He described Poland as a country that once stood behind the Iron Curtain and is now among the world’s 20 largest economies.
