Trump says Iran has agreed to abandon nuclear weapons

In a recent interview, U.S. President Donald Trump asserted that Iran has agreed to forgo nuclear weapons. He also indicated that Iran's Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, was involved in the negotiations between Tehran and Washington aimed at resolving the conflict.

Trump suggested that Khamenei, despite potential health issues, directly approved decisions related to the negotiation process. The U.S. President expressed a desire to meet Khamenei at some point, depending on how events unfold. He described the conflict with Iran as a success for the United States, stating that the Iranian military has been defeated.

"We are working towards a deal. If it happens, it will be very good. If not, we still have other options," Trump said, without specifying what these "other options" might entail.
