U.S. President Donald Trump departed Turkey after a NATO summit via a clandestine transfer to a military aircraft, a move reportedly prompted by a significant security threat. While initially seen boarding the older, light blue Air Force One, Trump was secretly moved via a tarmac vehicle to a C-32A military jet destined for England.

Some White House staff were reportedly also under the impression that the president was still on the original aircraft. When questioned about the closed blinds during the flight, Trump cryptically responded that they were likely on a "dangerous flight," adding, "But if I go, you go. Right?"

The C-32A carrying Trump reportedly landed in England around 10:20 p.m., with the original Air Force One and the press plane arriving minutes later. The exact method of Trump's transfer from the C-32A back to the older Air Force One remains unclear. The White House, through Communications Director Steve Cheung, stated that the gifted jet from Qatar is equipped with high-level security protocols to protect the president and his team, acknowledging the presence of "many enemies of America" and the use of all available means to counter threats. This maneuver echoes a similar operation in 2000 when President Bill Clinton flew to Pakistan on an unmarked private jet while his official Air Force One was sent ahead.
