Trump vows to bomb Iranian infrastructure if Tehran attacks ships

President Donald Trump issued a stark warning on Wednesday, vowing to bomb Iranian infrastructure if Tehran attacks vessels in the Strait of Hormuz. Trump declared on his Truth Social network that any such attack by the Islamic Republic of Iran, whether by missile, rocket, drone, or other weapon, would result in the United States bombing and destroying one bridge or power plant, including those near Tehran.

From this point forward, any time the Islamic Republic of Iran shoots at a ship in the Strait of Hormuz, whether it be by Missile, Rocket, Drone, or any other device or weapon, the United States will bomb and destroy ONE BRIDGE OR POWER PLANT.

This threat followed Trump's departure for an airbase to receive the remains of three U.S. troops killed in Iranian attacks on American military facilities in the Gulf. He stated his intention to honor these "great heroes" and reiterated their strong stance against Iran obtaining nuclear weapons, acknowledging the presidential difficulty but necessity of such actions.
