Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC)'s plant in Kumamoto, Japan, known as JASM, is progressively returning to normal operations following a significant earthquake. The facility experienced a magnitude 7.1 tremor on the afternoon of February 28, prompting an immediate halt in production.

Industry observers and analysts have assessed the potential financial fallout from the seismic event. Their preliminary evaluations suggest that the impact on TSMC's overall revenue and profitability is likely to be minimal.
