Tuan Hung postpones 30th anniversary concert, apologizes to fans

Vietnamese singer Tuan Hung has announced the postponement of his "Goc Ban Cong 2026 - Vet Nang" live show, originally scheduled for June 13 in Hanoi. The concert, intended to celebrate 30 years of his music career, will be rescheduled to allow for further refinement of the show's music, staging, and special guest performances.

"Hung always believes that the audience's wait deserves to be met with a meticulous and emotional music night," stated the artist's team. "Therefore, instead of trying to proceed when everything has not yet met expectations, Hung chooses to postpone for better preparation." The decision was not easy, but the singer and his team prioritize delivering a high-quality experience.

This is not the first time Tuan Hung has faced concert disruptions. In October 2018, his "Ngua Hoang" live show celebrating 20 years in music was abruptly canceled just two hours before it was set to begin due to safety and fire prevention concerns raised by local authorities. The incident deeply affected Hung, leading him to organize a free makeup concert later.

More recently, in April 2024, during the "Gui Ngan Loi Yeu" live show in Hanoi, Hung had to cut his performance short due to health issues affecting his voice. He subsequently offered full refunds to attendees, a move that garnered public understanding and support for his transparency.
