Tumwebaze thanks Museveni for reappointment, pledges loyalty

Frank Tumwebaze has expressed his sincere gratitude to President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni following his reappointment as the Minister for Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries. Tumwebaze conveyed his thanks through a statement on X, describing the reappointment as a sign of renewed trust and an opportunity to continue his service to the nation.

His retention in the agriculture docket comes as part of the recent cabinet changes announced by President Museveni after the opening of the 12th Parliament.

The minister also reaffirmed his dedication to his role, pledging "Loyalty & total commitment to duty." He extended his appreciation to Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the Chief of Defence Forces and Senior Presidential Advisor, referring to him as "Chairman Afande," for his support and belief in him.

Tumwebaze concluded his message with blessings for the President and Uganda, saying, "God bless my leader. God bless Uganda!" He has been serving as the Minister for Agriculture since 2021, overseeing key policies in a sector vital to Uganda's economy and food security.
