Tunisia's Junior Taekwondo Team Secures Seven Medals at Russian Open

Tunisia's junior taekwondo team concluded their preparation camp in Russia with a strong performance at the Russian International Open. The athletes brought home a total of seven medals, including three gold, one silver, and three bronze.

This tournament served as a crucial preparatory event for the upcoming Youth Olympic Games, scheduled to take place in Dakar, Senegal, from October 31 to November 13, 2026. The Tunisian contingent showcased their talent and determination on the international stage.

The gold medals were clinched by Ilef Alaya in the +68 kg category, Malek Mokrani in the -59 kg category, and Adem Djobbi in the -73 kg category. Adem Hasnaoui earned Tunisia's sole silver medal in the -63 kg division. Bronze medals were secured by Abderrahmane Boudhina (-73 kg), Ghofrane Hattab (-55 kg), and Sarra Selmi (-52 kg).
