Tunisia to launch single app for over 40 administrative services

Tunisia is accelerating its digital transformation with the upcoming launch of "Khadmet," a new mobile application designed to centralize more than 40 administrative services. This initiative aims to streamline procedures for citizens, businesses, and investors, making government interactions more accessible and efficient.

The presidency of the government announced on Saturday, August 15, 2026, that several digital projects have been completed. These include the launch of the National Investor Platform, which digitizes various investment-related procedures to enhance the business environment. Companies will also benefit from the complete digitalization of transactions with the National Business Register, improving services tailored to their needs.

Citizens will experience enhanced digital services, such as remote passport renewals for Tunisians living abroad and remote applications for translations of civil status documents. The electronic tax stamp system is also being expanded nationwide. Urban planning procedures are being digitized through the "Taamir" portal, which facilitates the process of obtaining building permits in several municipalities. Furthermore, 34 Digital Service Houses have been established across 21 governorates to bring digital services closer to the public.

The education sector is also undergoing digital changes with the launch of a unified school life portal. This platform will centralize digital services for students, parents, and educational staff. Economically, the "Patente en ligne" service allows businesses to file their declarations remotely, and the system for recording on-site consumption through cash registers is being implemented. The first phase of the "Khadamet" unified administrative services portal has also been completed with new features.
