Turkey announces dates for Open Education High School supplementary exam

The Turkish Ministry of National Education (MEB) has released the schedule and details for the 2025-2026 academic year's supplementary exam for the Open Education High School (AÖL). This exam offers a crucial opportunity for students who are nearing graduation or need to fulfill remaining credit requirements.

The electronic examination (e-Sınav) is set to take place from August 22 to August 31, 2026. Students will take the exam at designated e-Sınav centers across the country. The ministry has outlined specific eligibility criteria for participation.

Eligible candidates include students who have the right to make choices based on their 2026 YKS (Higher Education Institutions Exam) results, those admitted to higher education programs through the MSÜ (Military Students Admission Exam) or YÖS (Foreign Student Exam), or students who have received acceptance letters from universities but have not yet graduated from AÖL. Students whose supplementary exam rights are not visible in the system must apply by August 14, 2026.
