Turkey Announces 2026 University Entrance Exam Placement Results

The Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) in Turkey has announced the placement results for the 2026 Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS). Candidates can now access their results and check which university programs they have been accepted into.

ÖSYM President Prof. Dr. Bayram Ali Ersoy shared the news on social media, congratulating the successful candidates. "Dear candidates, the YKS preference process is complete, good luck. I congratulate our candidates who have been placed in higher education programs and wish you a productive education process," Ersoy stated.

For candidates who did not secure a placement in this round, Ersoy noted that an additional preference period will be available. "For our candidates who could not be placed in any program, the additional preference process will be a new opportunity," he said.

Registration for successful candidates will take place from August 24 to August 28, 2026. Electronic registrations are scheduled from August 24 to August 26. Candidates will need to apply to the university they have been assigned to within the specified period. Those completing electronic registration should follow the procedures announced by their respective universities. The ÖSYM will not be printing or mailing placement result documents.
