Turkey Appoints New Ambassadors to Iceland, Ukraine, and Netherlands

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has made new ambassadorial appointments, signaling shifts in Turkey's diplomatic representation abroad. The decisions, signed by the President himself, were officially published in the Official Gazette, making them effective.

Among the key appointments, Mustafa Levent Bilgen, who previously served as Turkey's Ambassador to Ukraine, has been reassigned as the Ambassador to the Republic of Iceland. Concurrently, Fatma Ceren Yazgan, formerly the Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, will now take up the post of Ambassador to Ukraine.

Burak Akçapar, who held the position of Permanent Representative of Turkey to the United Nations Office in Geneva, has been appointed as the Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Ayşe Sözen Usluer will succeed Akçapar as the Permanent Representative of Turkey to the United Nations Office in Geneva. These changes were made in accordance with articles 2, 3, and 4 of Presidential Decree No. 3.
