Turkey's LGS 2026 Exam Results and Application Dates Announced

Students and parents in Turkey are eagerly awaiting the results of the 2026 High School Transition System (LGS) exam, which took place on June 13. The exam is a critical step for millions of students aiming to enter a good high school.

The Ministry of National Education (MEB) has announced that the LGS results will be available to the public on July 10, 2026. On this date, students will learn their scores and their national percentile rankings. Unlike previous years, result documents will not be sent by mail; they will only be published digitally on the ministry's official platforms.

Following the release of the results, the intense high school application period will commence. The "Middle School Transition Preference and Placement Guide" and high school quota tables, which will guide students in creating their preference lists, will be published simultaneously with the results on July 10. The application window is set from July 13 to July 24, 2026. Students will use the e-Okul system to build their lists, considering their own percentile rankings and the previous year's base percentile rankings of the schools.
