Turkey's Supreme Military Council Convenes Under President Erdoğan

Turkey's Supreme Military Council (YAŞ) held a crucial meeting on Tuesday, chaired by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the Presidential Complex. The gathering is a significant event for the Turkish Armed Forces, as it determines key personnel decisions.

The agenda for the YAŞ meeting included the review of personnel files for officers eligible for promotion from colonel to general and admiral ranks. It also covered the identification of generals and admirals set for retirement due to reaching the age limit or lacking a vacant position.
