Turkey sees diesel price cut amid market volatility

Diesel fuel prices in Turkey have decreased by 1.30 Turkish Lira, according to reports from Ekonomim. This adjustment comes as fuel prices are subject to frequent changes influenced by fluctuating Brent crude oil prices, currency exchange rates, and developments in international energy markets.

Brent crude oil is currently priced at $87.32 per barrel as of 07:56, a notable increase from around $70 before the conflict in Ukraine. This global price fluctuation directly impacts domestic fuel costs in Turkey.

The article provides a snapshot of current fuel prices across major Turkish cities. In Istanbul, gasoline is priced at 67.10 Lira on the European side and 66.94 Lira on the Anatolian side, while diesel costs 77.21 Lira and 77.06 Lira, respectively. Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) is available for 31.19 Lira and 30.59 Lira.

In Ankara, gasoline is sold at 68.06 Lira, diesel at 78.32 Lira, and LPG at 31.19 Lira. Izmir follows with gasoline at 68.35 Lira, diesel at 78.60 Lira, and LPG at 30.99 Lira. These figures reflect the dynamic pricing environment for automotive fuels in the country.
