Turkish national basketball team finishes third in DBB Super Cup

The Turkish national basketball team, nicknamed the "12 Dev Adam" (12 Giant Men), secured third place in the DBB Super Cup held in Hamburg, Germany. The team concluded the tournament with a decisive 99-84 victory in the third-place playoff match.

According to the Turkish Basketball Federation's website, the national team started the game with a lineup of Kenan Sipahi, Yiğit Arslan, Onuralp Bitim, Metecan Birsen, and Ömer Faruk Yurtseven. They established an early lead, finishing the first quarter at 28-25 and extending their advantage to 54-52 by halftime.

The team continued their strong performance into the second half, widening their lead to 83-65 by the end of the third quarter. This dominant play led to their final victory margin of 15 points.

Ömer Faruk Yurtseven was a standout performer, scoring 21 points for the Turkish team. Malachi Flynn also contributed significantly with 15 points. Several officials from the Turkish Basketball Federation, including FIBA Europe and TBF Board Member Hüseyin Beşok, TBF Board Member Kerem Tunçeri, National Teams Director Alper Yılmaz, and Central Referee Board President Recep Ankaralı, were present to watch the match.
