TV host praises Klaipėda Children's Hospital after daughter's emergency visit

Television host Ugnė Siparė has shared a positive experience seeking medical attention for her daughter at Klaipėda Children's Hospital, highlighting the professionalism and efficiency of the staff.

Siparė initially mentioned on Instagram that her seaside vacation was interrupted by doctor visits, but later decided to share the details, believing her experience could help other families. On the first day of their vacation, after a day at the beach, her daughter Umytė developed a fever, nausea, and vomiting. Suspecting causes ranging from sun exposure to food, Siparė initially thought it was a temporary issue.

I want to praise what professionalism, what a doctor we encountered, what the entire staff from administration to every nurse, doctor.

However, wanting a medical opinion, Siparė faced difficulties finding immediate help at private clinics in Klaipėda. After calling many, she was either unable to get an appointment or was advised to travel to Vilnius. Following recommendations from acquaintances, she decided to go to the emergency department of Klaipėda Children's Hospital.

There was no unnecessary waiting, because I really didn't want to go to the emergency room with a small child, I thought people have all sorts of illnesses, I wanted to spend as little time as possible and as quickly as possible.

Siparė expressed pleasant surprise at the high level of care received. She commended the entire team, from administration to nurses and doctors, for their professionalism. Umytė underwent all necessary tests, including an X-ray, without unnecessary waiting. The hospital staff quickly diagnosed the child with hidden pneumonia. Siparė noted that many followers responded to her post, agreeing with her positive assessment of the hospital.
