Two Children Missing in Hannover, Police Seek Public's Help

Hannover police have issued an urgent appeal for public assistance in locating two missing children, Ali Z., aged seven, and Leny H., aged twelve. The children were last seen on Wednesday afternoon, and concerns are mounting due to their vulnerability.

Authorities suspect the children may be in danger, particularly given Leny's pre-existing medical condition. They were last seen leaving a day care facility on Hildesheimer Straße in the Wülfel district around 4:30 PM. Their current location remains unknown, and police suspect they may be traveling together, possibly using public transport.

Previous searches have been unsuccessful. Leny has a history of going missing, having been found in locations like Bremen and Hannover Airport in the past. For Ali, this is reportedly the first time he has been reported missing. Ali is described as having short dark hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing denim shorts, a gray Hogwarts-emblazoned sweater, and blue-red shoes. Leny has medium-length brown hair and was last seen in a pink and white striped dress, white sneakers, and a gray sweatshirt.

Police are urging anyone with information or who may have seen the children to contact the Hannover-Döhren police station immediately. The detailed descriptions and the urgency of the appeal underscore the seriousness of the situation.
