Two Hispano-Argentine pairs reach Valencia Padel final

The men's final of the Valencia Premier Padel tournament will feature two formidable Hispanic-Argentine pairings: Ale Galán and Fede Chingotto, and Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia. The semi-finals saw intense competition, with Galán and Chingotto mounting a comeback after losing the first set to Juan Lebrón and Leo Augsburger, ultimately winning 3-6, 6-3, 6-4.

The match between Galán and Lebrón was marked by tension, including a controversial ball hit by Galán that struck Augsburger. The animosity continued post-match, with Lebrón reportedly refusing to shake Galán's hand. In contrast, Coello and Tapia dominated their semi-final against Miguel Yanguas and Franco Stupaczuk, winning decisively 6-2, 6-2 in just one hour.

In the women's category, Spanish duo Ari Sánchez and Andrea Ustero caused an upset by defeating the favored pair Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea 7-5, 2-6, 6-4. This victory ended Triay and Brea's streak of reaching finals in recent tournaments.

Sánchez and Ustero will now face the Hispano-Portuguese team of Claudia Fernández-Sánchez and Sofía Araújo in the women's final. Fernández-Sánchez, born in 2006, and the more experienced Araújo, born in 1994, secured their spot by defeating Marta Ortega-Gallego and Marina Calvo 6-3, 6-2.
