Two killed in separate tractor and car-motorcycle crashes in Gyeongju

Two people died in separate traffic accidents in Gyeongju on the 6th.

At about 1:45 p.m., a tractor overturned on a local road in Ansim-ri, Naenam-myeon. Its driver, an 80-year-old man, became trapped under the cargo bed and died at the scene.

Earlier that day, at about 10:26 a.m., a passenger car collided with a motorcycle on National Route 31 in Gampo-ri, Gampo-eup. The motorcyclist, a man in his 60s, was taken to hospital in cardiac arrest but later died. The car's driver, a woman in her 60s, suffered minor injuries and received hospital treatment.

Police are investigating the exact circumstances of both crashes using witness statements and other evidence.
