Two more arrested in Istanbul stabbing death of 19-year-old Syrian man

A brawl that began on social media and spilled into a park in Istanbul's Fatih district has resulted in the death of a 19-year-old Syrian man, Ali Anzo. The confrontation, which occurred early on August 3, escalated from an online argument between two groups into a violent physical fight.

During the melee, both Anzo and another individual, Ali Hilal, were stabbed. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene, and the injured were transported to the hospital. Despite the efforts of medical staff, Ali Anzo succumbed to his injuries. Ali Hilal is currently receiving treatment and is reported to be in critical condition.

Authorities have been actively investigating the incident. Initially, eight suspects were apprehended. The arrest of two additional individuals has now raised the total number of detainees in connection with the fatal stabbing to 10. The legal proceedings for the suspects are ongoing.
