Two Serbian nationals arrested for beach thefts in Montenegro

Barska policija, the police force in Bar, Montenegro, has apprehended two Serbian nationals in connection with a string of thefts that occurred on the beaches of Sutomore and Canj during July and August. The arrested individuals, identified as N.Š., 46, and S.K., 25, are suspected of committing 10 separate theft offenses against both Montenegrin citizens and foreign tourists.

According to a statement from the Montenegrin police, the pair allegedly collaborated to steal money, mobile phones, bags, wallets, bank cards, and even keys to vehicles and apartments. N.Š. is accused of instigating S.K.'s involvement, providing transportation, assisting in concealing the stolen goods, and sharing the proceeds.

So far, the investigation has documented the theft of over 800 euros in cash, nine mobile phones, several bags and wallets, seven bank cards, and various personal items. This action follows a previous criminal complaint filed by Budva police against S.K. for similar theft offenses in that area.
