Two suspected heroin dealers arrested in Bishkek, one linked to Kolbaev's organized crime group

Bishkek police apprehended two individuals in June 2026 suspected of dealing heroin originating from Afghanistan. The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that the arrests followed operational and investigative measures. The suspects, identified as Z.E. (born 1990) and M.M. (born 1993), were found with Afghan heroin and a ME 8 Police firearm during searches of their residences.

Authorities revealed that one of the detainees was reportedly a member of the organized crime group led by Kamchi Kolbaev. A criminal case has been initiated under Article 282 of the Criminal Code, concerning the illegal production of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and their analogues with intent to sell.

Judicial examinations are underway, and investigative actions are ongoing to uncover any other individuals involved in the group's activities. The investigation aims to dismantle the entire network responsible for drug distribution.
