Two suspects arrested in transporter robbery; property with three stolen vehicles secured in Edomex

Authorities in the State of Mexico have arrested two men in connection with a violent cargo theft, seizing a property that contained three stolen vehicles. The operation began after a report of a stolen cargo truck on the Circuito Exterior Mexiquense in Ecatepec.

Surveillance cameras from the C5 system tracked a vehicle believed to have escorted the stolen truck. This pursuit led officers to Avenida Convento del Carmen in Atizapán de Zaragoza, where a joint operation involving the Secretariat of Public Security, the Navy, and municipal police was launched.

During the operation, officers located a vehicle matching the description of the one involved in the theft. Eduardo "N" and Luis "N" were arrested at the scene and are now facing charges of concealment by receiving stolen property. Their case is being handled by the Public Ministry.

Investigators also identified a property linked to the detainees. From the exterior, they observed license plates and three vehicles. A database check confirmed that these vehicles had active theft reports. The property has been secured by state police as the investigation continues to determine the legal status of the detainees and the seized assets.
