Two women bypass airport security in Moscow to catch missed flight

Two passengers missed their flight and took drastic measures at Moscow's Sheremetyevo International Airport on July 25, bypassing security to reach the aircraft on the tarmac. The women were seen walking directly towards the plane as it was preparing for departure.

Footage captured at the airport shows the two women proceeding onto the runway. One of them was pulling a rolling suitcase, while both appeared determined to board the plane they had missed. The incident took place at Sheremetyevo, one of the primary airports serving Russia's capital.

This event echoes similar security lapses at European airports. In November of the previous year, two Romanian citizens were filmed running across a runway at Cologne Bonn Airport in Germany, attempting to catch a Wizz Air flight to Bucharest. Airport security intervened and stopped them before they could board, and authorities initiated a criminal investigation.

Just one day later, three British citizens were apprehended by security at the same German airport after they fled onto the runway in a bid to board a flight. They managed to open an emergency exit door on a plane, triggering an alarm. Airport security personnel quickly intercepted them, preventing them from boarding.
