Tyson Fury is set to return to the boxing ring on July 24 in Thailand for a warm-up match against Mariusz Wach. The WBC heavyweight champion has announced that he will not receive any payment for this fight, with all proceeds being donated to local charities.

Fury, known as the 'Gypsy King,' is preparing for a potential showdown later in the year against fellow Briton Anthony Joshua, although this bout is not yet officially confirmed. Joshua is scheduled to fight Kristian Prenga the day after Fury's match.

Speaking to GoldStar Promotions, Fury highlighted the charitable aspect of his upcoming fight. He mentioned that 1,500 tickets were made available and sold out within three minutes, successfully raising $250,000 for children. "This is an opportunity to give something back," Fury stated, expressing a desire to engage in activities he hasn't pursued before.

He directly addressed any potential perception of financial motivation, stating, "How can anyone call this just grabbing money when I won't get any salary?" Fury's commitment to donating his fight earnings underscores a desire to contribute positively beyond his boxing career.

A victory against Wach would be a step towards confirming the highly anticipated super-fight with Joshua. If Joshua also wins his bout, the date and location for their major clash could be announced soon.
