U.S. Army Secretary Dan Driscoll Resigns After Reported Clash With Defense Secretary

Dan Driscoll has resigned as U.S. Army secretary after reported disagreements with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, according to U.S. media reports cited in the account.

Driscoll held the post for about 18 months. At 41, he was the youngest person to serve as Army secretary. A White House statement praised his role in advancing President Donald Trump’s agenda and described his leadership in military operations as effective.
